11.Wormwood - The Truth: Religious superstition. A star cannot and will not fall on the Earth.
12. Magnetic Pole Shift - The Truth: Happens slowly over hundreds (sometimes thousands) of years and poses no threat to us.
13.Rotational pole shift - The Truth: Also called procession, this completes a cycle about once every 26,000 years. 2012 is not a major point in this cycle. For a rotational pole shift to happen suddnely, would require us being hit by something with opposite roatation about the size of Mars.
14.Crustal displacement - The Truth: This happens at a about 1 - 2 1/2 degrees every million years.
15.Solar Flares - The next Solar max is due sometime in 2013 and expected to be less intense than the last one in 2003.
16.Isaac Newton - The Truth: Predicted the biblical apocalypse to happen sometime around 2060 not 2012.
17. Nostradamus - The Truth: Has predictions all the way out to 3790, kind of hard if the world ends in 2012
18. I-Ching - The Truth: An ancient Chinese system of fortune-telling. It does not predict anything by itself, but rather describes a system of making predictions by casting signs. It contains no prediction regarding 2012
19.Mayan Calendar - The Truth: The calendar does not end. There are Maya stelas that reference 90 million years ago, and 400 million years into the future. They also never made a doomsday prediction. There was a stela found at an archeological dig at Tortuguero that mentioned the completion of the 13th baktun (12/21/12). This was only significant because 13 was a sacred number to the Maya, it made no doomsday prediction. Put simply, it's just a numerical counting system, there's nothing mystical about it. Amatuers interpreted the word "completion" and the mention of a god coming to be some sort of apocalypse, in reality it said that the 13 baktun would complete and the god B’olon-Yokte’ will bind the previous katuns. After the 13th baktun ends, the 14th starts, then the 15th and so on and so on.
So there it is ... it's all fake, and nothing is going to happen.
