There has been this rumor going around that if you hold up 2 cds to the sun you can see a black dot, which is elenin. Is this true?

The black dot is probably the spot where you just burned your retina. You should be seeing it for the rest of your life.

Elenin is gone, sorry to tell you. It didn't survive it's encounter with the sun. You will never be able to see it.
