Was the moon landing a hoax

Let's see, the U.S. government spent billions of dollars on designing, building and flying a series of rockets capabler of sending people to the moon and back, not just once, but several times. In full view of the world. Thousands of people (scientists, engineers, mechanics, technicians, designers, etc...) were hired to work on this project, all to fake the results and nobody spilled the beans?

The there are the researchers who worked on the samples, not only from the U.S. program, but the Russian unmanned samples as well.

You ought to try and run a small conspiracy sometime, with about 10 people and see how far you get.

Now try and imagine doing a multi-billion dollar, thousands of people, with the world watching your every move conspiracy and see how that might work.

There is no evidence suggesting the moon landing was a hoax. The people you see on youtube accusing the U.S. of an elaborate hoax are idiots. They are people who failed science class and refuse to believe anything that they themselves cannot do. Things like not being able to see the stars in the photos or the flag waving in space are completely null and void once you understand science. There is a retro reflector on the moon that Nasa can hit with a laser to determine the distance of the moon. You can see it with a telescope. We went to the moon. Period.

Of course we went to the Moon! Can you imagine ... excuse me, someone at the door. Sorry about that, it was just another government check, I'll put it on the stack. Anyway, can you imagine what kind of absurd conspiracy would be required to keep so many scientists quiet? Wait a tick, another interruption... another check? Thank you! It would take billions of dollars to pay off all those scientists, not to mention the film crew, caterers, costumers... wait a mo... another check? My my my! Is today the first already? Anyway, it would be impossible to fake the Moon landings with 1960s technology. It would have taken computer graphics directly reverse-engineered from flying saucers or something and THAT would require an entirely new conspiracy, not to mention more pay offs. Oh, look, I have email. A direct transfer to my checking account? How nice!
