You are trying to slide a refrigerator across a horizontal floor. The mass of the refrigerator is 194 kg, and you need to exert a force of 349 N to make it just begin to move.
After it starts moving, the refrigerator reaches a speed of 1.7 m/s after 4.9 s. What is the coefficient of kinetic friction between the refrigerator and the floor?
Thanks for your help

Acceleration is 1.7 / 4.9 = 0.347 m/s/s
F = ma = 194 . 0.347 = 67.3 N
That is the force needed to supply the acceleration. The "left over" force must be used to overcome the friction force.
Friction force = Total force – accelerating force = 349 – 67.3 = 281.9
Friction force = µ(k) . N
281.9 = µ(k) . 194 . 9.8
µ(k) = 0.15
F = ma = 194 . 0.347 = 67.3 N
