Use factorization to simplify the given expression in part (a). Then find the indicated limit in part (b).

a) 6x^3+18x^2+18x+6/x^4+x^3+x+1

b) Lim -------> -1

6x^3+18x^2+18x+1/x^4+x^3+x+1

I'm working on the exact same problem and all I have found so far is that the denominator broken down would be (x+1)^2(x^2-x+1). I don't know if that helps at all, but if I figure it out I'll post the answer as well.

The answer is:
6x+6 / x^2-x+1

Limit as x approaches -1 is:
0

Hope I helped! :)
