What if a space plague kills all females of a Federation Starbase (but not DS9)? (during the 3rd season of DS9 and the 1st season of Voyager and one month before Generations.)
-
It's a big universe. There are more females somewhere.

*Sarcastic Part*
OH NO IT'S A SPACE PLAGUE
I BET THIS IS GONNA HAPPEN TOMORROW
I BETTER RUN FOR MY LIFE
*Scientific Part*
Because space is a vacuum, it is not possible for diseases to spread which means all signs of plague would be killed if it ventures into space. No known organism can survive without a form of gas, which clearly, there is none or not enough of in space.
By the way this question has nothing to do with astronomy so why did you put it here?

8-| Somebody else who can't separate fiction from real life. The United States is killing itself with its own ignorance. Please, excuse me if you are not a United States citizen. YA has demonstrated to me that Europeans and oriental Indians aren't necessarily any smarter than United States citizens are.

The writers of those sitcoms would come up with some more females someplace, otherwise the shows ratings would drop.

This question does not pertain to space science and astronomy. Is there a Star Trek category that is more suitable?

they would just need to open the door so the oxygen gets out, no oxygen means no bugs or viruses :)
