Where did the universe's singularity come from

The origin of the components of the universe is unknown to science.

Many point to the big bang as the origin of everything, but the big bang does not address the issue of origin. It is the process of expansion and is still visibly in progress.

The evidence found so far does not indicate the origin of the components for the universe, nor does the evidence tell us anything of events occurring before its expansion. Rather than repeatedly reciting this qualifying sentence, the big bang is often simply referred to (incorrectly) as the beginning or "creation" of the universe. Television documentaries do not bother to make the distinction. Though not technically correct, for most practical discussions of the physics of the universe, this is okay. For discussions on the origin of the universe, the error is unacceptable.

Guesses and ideas on the origin of the universe are plentiful but unsubstantiated. There are many religions that have their own explanation although most reject all other explanations but their own.

Although some suggestions have the start of the big bang as the start of the universe, I don't know of any scientific requirement for or against an infinitely long past.

It's part of The Big Bang Theory and incorrect logic. It's a theory that is fading away little by little.
That initial condition problem means that the theory never really gets off the ground.
Keep looking around and remember that the primordial atom in nothing genesis seed thing is only a theory and an idea, nothing like a fact. It's more myth than reality.
Keep asking questions. The field of Cosmology is changing fast and that old big bang is going bye bye.

I like science, but it has its limits. example, the big bang.....who caused that.? Science attempts to refute God but cant disprove God. Therefore the limits....God has no such limitations, Mans limitations are self imposed, to the extent of his willingness to believe in God. Think about the big bang theory.....

Basically, I think that this question can never be answered. It's simply impossible. All other phenomenons of the universe have a cause and effect, but the creation of the universe has no cause whatsoever.

I put more thought to this than it seems. Instead of leaving the question without an answer for the reason of just being lazy, I've come to this conclusion through reasonable reason.
