A. 1
B. 720
C. 60
D. 24
2. A single standard six-sided die is rolled. Find the probability of rolling a number greater that 3.
A. 1
B. 1/2
C. 1/3
D. 2/3
If h(x)= 3x^2 find h(h(2))
a. -432
b. 12
c. 432
.d. 1296

1, Combination 6c4 = 6!/4!2! = 15
2, P(4,5,6) = 3/6 = 1/2 = 50%
3, h(2)= 3(2)^2=12, h(12) = 3(12)^2 = 3(144) = 432 (c)
Let f(x)= x^2-2 and g(x)= 3x^2. Find g(f(x))
g(f(x)) = 3(x^2-2)^2 = 3(x^4 - 4x^2 +4) , then distribute the 3 on the outside, I did the hard part already :)
WHat is the inverse of this equation f(x)= 3x+1/3
solve x = 3y +1/3
3y = x - 1/3
y = x/3 - 1/9 (divide all by 3)
therefore f^-1(x) = x/3 - 1/9
as a teacher I know I shouldn't be doing your homework, but everyone deserves a break now and then

ya, I can't understand how the right answer isn't there for part one. But order shouldn't matter on how you taker 4 out of 6. So I stand by my answer :)
