Destroy your arm before you ever get it in the tub.

Very few cats like - or even tolerate - being in water.
Putting a cat into water is asking to lose blood from every part of your body that isn't protected by heavy leather or similar protection - I guarantee that you will quickly learn that their claws AND teeth are vicious weapons, and cats know how to use them with great effect!
Somewhere out on the Internet is a hilariously funny piece about "How to give a cat a pill". I don't know if it's a true story or not, but it illustrates things that can happen with you try to force an ordinary house cat to do something which it does NOT want to do!

My cat would just as well scratch my eyes out and puncture my jugular if I were to put her in the tub with water. You might try this: Put something down on the tub like a small blanket or towel or something so the kitty has firm footing. Take some container it's familar with and dip out the warm water on the cat. Usually a little wet at a time is tolerated .I usually do it outside .

No one can predict that, for a start you don't state there is water in it, though that would seem to be what you are really asking ! Most domestic cats would make a sharpish exit and would probably hold you in contempt for a few months. Though most cats do that anyway, bastards.

Even if it has not water in it, my cat seems afraid of it..He is probably aware that we take baths in it and that there is water. With water, my cat freaks out. It would bite, scratch and try to jump out, if you could even get it inside the bath.
