I think it'd be so cool if it happened!!! Would it be hazardous to us though?

Acid rain isn't all that acidic; if it fell on you it would not sting or eat holes in your clothing. Acid rain forms when rain water combines with compounds such as sulphur dioxide or nitrogen oxide, which lowers the pH of the water a small amount. These compounds are natural to some amount, but also are produced in exhausts from factories, for instance.
