Nope, it just happens sometimes. Nothing to do with the earthquake, nothing to do with global warming, nothing to do with anything except weather patterns that occur naturally. It's just a rare occurance, that's all.

hurricanes have hit up north many times in the recorded past, just far between each occurance. the earthquake and the hurricane are completely seperate
