Non conservative work problem. Calculating uk(coefficient of friction)

94.(17.94/5.2) = - 3.45m/sec^2 acceleration.Accelerating force = (ma) = 1 x 3.......
Need some help with this problem from physics. Its a non conservative work and energy problem

"a bicyclist riding at 8.2m/s passes through a 5.2m patch of sand. She emerges on the other side traveling at 5.6m/s. Calculate the uk for the sandy spot."

Vi^2 = Vf^2 + 2(ad)
(Vi^2 - Vf^2)/2 = ad, = 17.94.
(17.94/5.2) = - 3.45m/sec^2 acceleration.
Accelerating force = (ma) = 1 x 3.45, = 3.45N.
(3.45/9.8) = coefficient of 0.352.

Actual mass unimportant, use 1kg. (weight of 9.8N. on earth) to find the coefficient.
