Hello,
I've tried to solve this for 1 hour now, but no luck, I always get a weird number, so I need someone who is good at physics to help me with this.
Here is the question:
3. An electric kettle has a 10A fuse and is connected to 240V mains supply. Given that the specific heat capacity of water is 4200 J/kg oC, estimate how long it will take to reach boiling point of 750g of water which is originally at room temp. (5)
That's the question, I hope you can answer it, and please give me the calculations too! :-)
