Is it right to use Distance divided by speed? Which gives me 0.66. To get that in minutes do I times it by 60 which gives me 39.6 minutes? Please help.......
Okay, so I have a navigation task in an assignment. I have to travel 3.3 nautical miles at 5 knots. I have to find out the time it would take. Is it right to use Distance divided by speed? Which gives me 0.66. To get that in minutes do I times it by 60 which gives me 39.6 minutes? Please help. It is very appreciated :D Thanks for all answers!

Yes, it is.

Something useful:

Speed = Distance/Time

Time = Distance/Speed

Distance = Time * Speed

Hope you understood!!!

The limit does not exist!

-
Speed = distance / time

So u can find time

Time = distance / speed

Seems OK to me !

You've already got the answer there :)
