so E&F are the first set that is in parallel, for the second circuit, A is parallel to B&C which is also parallel to D. Additionally B&C would be considered to be in series.......
Im having a very dificult time understanding which are in peralel and which are in serise. I asked before and they said something about 1 terminal, and whatever, i just dont know how it would apply in this case! I will appriciate any awnser.

you can break this up into two sets of parallel circuits that are in series, so E&F are the first set that is in parallel, for the second circuit, A is parallel to B&C which is also parallel to D. Additionally B&C would be considered to be in series.
