Why do paranormal things have to be so scary

Actually most paranormal things are not scary but startling. You dont expect the things it does to happen because you cant really see them most of the time. For most people, its scary because they do not understand it and dont want something in their home that doesnt belong. But humans and ghosts can live in harmony in a building or home very easily most of the time. Ghosts are not like casper, you cant really become friends to that extent. You can live in harmony though. But some spirits do not want to be friends or be messed with. They just want to be left alone. And other spirits are malevolent or angry therefore befriending them would not be what you want to do. Many spirits that are most nice are the children spirits who mostly want to interact with other living children because adults can be very intimidating to them.

I believe in ghost and paranormal things and I do think there are some "good" ghost; however, some believers think some of these are demons so they are afraid of getting close to them. I was having a conversation with a friend and she was telling me (after we were discussing about the movie Paranormal Activity) that she doesn't want to do anything with Ghost due to reading somewhere, a bible I believe she said, that all ghost are demons in disguise. I think its just what people opinions are.

Yes I have experience this many times.... and at first I was scare of this spirit woman thinking she was a normal ghost, I didn't know what her intentions were why I was scare, but the very first time I spoke to her because she was coming to me every night, I said for her to go away and leave me alone, she started to communicate and speak to me, her voice was so beautiful and gentle, that my first thought was she's an angel. And it became comforting, she did listen to me and didn't come back for one month, then she started coming every night again, and at times I would communicate with her why I know her name, it's Erica, she is believe to be my spirit guide and came to heal, guide, protect and comfort and encourage me to go on, and she helped me with my son too, especially when he was very ill one night she came and got me up. I am not afraid when she comes now, I look forward to her return, it's comforting now that I know her intentions.
