I've heard that taking in vitamin D helps combat fatigue. Is that true? I mean, I've heard of iron , vitamin B12 and B2 helping to fight tiredness but never vitamin D....I hear it often, though. How is that?

Vitamin D does not really have much to do with fatigue.
There are many ways through which Vitamin D can be absorbed by the body. One way that most people know about is when the skin is exposed to the sun. According to many researchers, your body can get enough vitamin D when you expose your body to the sun for as little as 15 minutes. However, some other ways are through foods high in vitamin D like eggs, fish, cod liver oil and fortified milk. Another good source is when you take a multivitamin daily.
No one should take extra D too long. Even when it is deficient, it is only a temporary treatment to take extra D.

Vitamin D can help with fatigue if you are not getting enough sun or you have a vitamin D deficiency.
