Hi, I'm a junior in high school and I'm really trying to decide what my future career will be! I love babies and I know that I want to be a baby doctor of some sort but there are so many options. I really want to work with newborns, pregnancy and possibly delivery. I don't want to be a pediatrician because I don't really want to work with kids just babies. Do you guys have any suggestions on what I should be? Advice for becoming a doctor or any info on the subject? I appreciate the help(: Thanks!

You don't choose a specialty until you are finishing medical school. You cannot possibly know what will interest you until that time.
I love babies too. I found out in med school that I prefer them to be anesthetized. Really, there's nothing more beautiful than a sleeping child, even if it takes sevoflurane to make it happen.
If you want to work with babies, realize that as a doctor, you will be working with sick, deformed and dying babies. The healthy ones don't need much doctoring. You will also have to deal the the babies' parents, and THAT is a hassle and a half.
Worry about specialty choice when it matters, in about 8 years.

Pediatricians work with babies, but they also work with Children up until they are around 18 years old.
Neonatologists are specialized to work with only babies, usually premature or who have illnesses at birth. But remember, babies should not be your driving force for becoming a doctor. You should find something that truly intrests you biologically such as the brain or another organ, than consider a patient thats a baby a good thing. Or just try to specialize with babies. NICU nurse or Labor and Delivery. OBGYN's typically deliver babies too.
