specifically propranolol (also called inderal) uhmm if i have bad side effects from it, could they stick with me after i stop taking it? like sayyy if it makes me impotent :X

If propranolol made you impotent, your normal sexual function would return upon discontinuation of the drug. I'm guessing you are probably taking a low dose of it (maybe for migraines) as it is not usually a first line therapy for blood pressure control. Assuming that is true, the incidence of impotence is dose dependent, in other words, the higher the dose, the greater the risk of impotence.
Propranolol does have a black box warning about abrupt discontinuation, so if you choose to take it and down the road you decide to stop, be sure and seek professional help in developing a titration off of the medication, otherwise severe high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke can occur.
There are less evasive blood pressure medications you could take (I.e. Ace inhibitors, water pills) but if you are taking it for migraine prophylaxis, propranolol is one of the better alternatives. Feel free to email me and I could go into more detail if you desire.

If you have issues with it talk to your doctor, and they can switch you to something else. Are you on any other BP meds, or do you have any other heart issues?

Everyone is different so I can't say but if that's the case mention it to your doctor so they can take care of whatever the problem may be.
