So yes im thinking about going into medical school just to become a general practitioner now im wondering how hard it will be? On two things one how hard will it be for me to get it and two how hard the actual school is now im in college getting a masters in biology almost finished with that but the problem is what school will accept my GPA? its a GPA of 3.4 and the second part is that math is not my strong side but i love helping people ive always had a dream of becoming a doctor for years and i find medicine and diseases very interesting i enjoy it im also super good with stress and multitasking and its not like i suck at math it just takes me a little bit longer to finish it then others so how hard do you think it will be?

Dont listen to these people saying you need to be A+ etc.
You need a few things:
A decent GPA (mine was lower than yours, and 3.6 is average, but its doable with less)
A good MCAT score (you will need better than a 30 with that GPA)
A good application. make sure you work in a hospital or volunteer and shadow someone. It can be kind of strange to just ask someone to shadow them, but it is normally flattering to them, and its great experience for you.
Math doesnt matter. I mean the basics, sure, but pharmocodynamics are the only real math we use, and its just going to take you more time. no big deal.
And dont listen to the kid competing with 1600 kids for 200 spots. If hes smart hes also competing for 1600 kids for 200 spots at another school. THE SAME 1600 KIDS. the percentage of kids that apply with a reasonable application (GPA around yours or higher and >29 on the MCAT) that match is pretty high.
As far as how hard med school is. Its hard. Not the content, just requires dedication. But if you want to help people, thats the best possible motivation. Just stick with it, you can TOTALLY do this.
Good luck, and i hope you choose it :)
