Cannabis has been used for "female problems" (ancient term, not mine) for at least a thousand years, as well as for many other ailments. Cannabis does have some pain reducing properties and there is certainly active research on trying to identify how cannabinoid receptors work so that more effective pain medications can be developed. The problem is, while it MAY be helpful for MS pains it will make you intoxicated and impaired. Generally side effects should always be weighed against the benefit of the drug and alternative treatments.
