Apply the divergence theorem to compute ∫∫s F·dS for the vector field F(x,y,z)= over the complete boundary S of the solid paraboloid {(x,y,z): x^2+y^2 ≤ z ≤ 1} with outward normal.
Heres what I did:
Need help with this question. Thanx-Hi Sofiara

sin^2 x+ cos 2x- cos x= 0-Hi,
You can use the fact that cos 2x=cos^2 x - sin^2 x:
sin^2 x+ cos 2x - cos x = 0
sin^2 x+ cos^2 x - sin^2 x - cos x = 0
cos^2 x - cos x = 0
cos(x
Calculate the line integration of the vector field F= (x+y)i+(x^2+y^2)j along the unit circle clockwise.-Using x = cos t, y = -sin t for t in [0, 2π] for clockwise orientation:
∫c · dr
= ∫(t = 0 to 2
What ‘s the formula for an arithmetic sequence with the 1st term: 5 and a common difference of successive terms of 3?
I get it that a_{n} = 3. So, is the formula for the arithmetic sequence as simpl
How would I solve 2cos² x = sin 2x for for 0 ≤ x ≤ πin terms of π.
Thanks!-First, you need to simplify this equation to have a trigonometric function of the same expression:
2cos² x = sin 2x
2cos² x

Find the mass of the conical surface z=sqrt(x^2+y^2) for z≤ 2 with density p(x,y)=x^2+y^2 .
any help will be greatly appreciated-I suppose is a solid cone , finally i will take the surface only :-)

Ok So I know you find the GCF first.
5x (x^2 - 14x - 72)
Then _ + _ = -14 & _ x _ = -72
Its 4 and -18 but what do I do from there?-If all you have to do is factor completely youre done. You did GCF
