The equation is y= -2cos(3x-pi)-4.
WHY is the curve to the right of the starting point an upward curve instead of a downward curve??????
Since the number before the cosine is a negative, shouldn't it be a downward curve instead?

y= -2cos(3x-pi)-4
= -2cos3(x - pi/3) - 4
period = 2pi/3 => 1/2 period = pi/3
(x - pi/3) => horizontal shift right pi/3
