I have a flask, 78.23 g, when filled with water it is 593.63g, therefore, mass of water is 515.4.
When the flask is filled with sulfuric acid, H2SO4, it has a mass of 1026.57g. Assume water density of 1.00g/cm3. Volume = mass/density so I got 515.4/1 = 515.4 cm3
Density = mass/volume so I got D= 1026.57/515.4 = 1.992g/cm3
This is wrong. Can someone point out where I messed up? I'm confused :(

You forgot to subtract the mass of the flask from the total mass when it was filled with acid.
D= (1026.57-78.23)/515.4 = 1.84
D= (1026.57-78.23)/515.4 = 1.84
