ok so I know that you gotta do the long devision first but i don't know what to do next. Please explain thoroughly
Example: y= (6X^2 - 5X + 2) / (3x + 2)
when using long division it becomes:
y= 2X + 1 + 8/(3x + 2)
I don't know what to do next. Please if you know a way that is easier than long division tell me

-
y= (6X^2 - 5X + 2) / (3x + 2)
3x+2 ≠ 0
so,
x = -2/3 => horizontal asymptote
y= (2x + 1) + 8/(3x + 2)
so,
y = 2x+1 => slant asymptote. (long division is the only way to find SA)
