For each of those three possibilities, you can answer 1 of 4 questions in the second group. So for each possibility in the first group there are 4 possibilities in the second group. That is a total of 3*4 = 12 different ways to answer one question from each group.......
not required to answer all the questions. One question must be answered from each group" In how many ways you can select the questions?

Please explain the solution.
Thanks in advance for your help !!
