Hi can someone please help me with steps on this problem, the exponents are confusing me, and its a non-calculator problem.
Find elasticity of demand :
p(x) = (16 - x)^ (-1/2)
x = 9
Find elasticity of demand :
p(x) = (16 - x)^ (-1/2)
x = 9

p(9) = (16 - 9)^-1/2 = 1/square root(7) = 1/2.646 = 0 38
