How do I know if x²(x-1) is a quadratic equation

These are a few of the equations I need to figure out:
(x-2)(x=4)
(3x+4)(x²-2)
3x²-2x+4

How do I figure out if they are quadratic?

A quadratic equation has the highest degree = 2

x^2(x - 1) = x^3 - x^2 --> this has degree 3 and a cubic equation

Of the other three examples
(x - 2)( x + 4) is a quadratic
(3x - 4)(x^2 - 2) is not
3x62 - 2x + 4 is a quadratic
