The question is 4sinxcosx=1 in interval [0, 2pi)
Which is sin2x=1/2
which is 2x = pi/6, 5pi/6
But the answers are pi/12, 5pi/12, 13pi/12, and 17pi/12
Why is the 13pi/12 and 17pi/12 part of the answer? Those are way beyond the interval [0, 2pi)
Please explain. Thank you!

They are answers. 13pi/12 is 1.0833*pi and 17pi/12 is 1.4167*pi. You need to work on fractions. Remember 24pi/12 is the same as 2pi.
It's the same mistake people make that a quarter pounder is more than a third pounder. IE 1/4 is more that 1/3 when it isn't.
17pi is bigger than 2pi but 17pi/12 isn't.

They are NOT outside the interval.
