The Marcus falls coast the Guard often need to save travelers who get caught on Harbiclake. the cost Guard office is coordinate (7,6).

1. Fammily was struggling in there canoe at point (5,-6) on the lake. The cost Guard have to travel out to save the family. what is the slope path they have to take?

2. the cost guard captain chris seely wants to map his path to save the family. Determine the equation the path that captain seely must take to get to the family. Write the equation in Y=mx+b form.

3. convert the equation into standard form state the x and y intercepts of this line.

y2-y1/x2-x1 subtract y2 from y1 and x2 from x1 then divide.
-6-6=-12
5-7=-2
M or the slope = 6
y-y1=m(x-x1) Now plug the values into the point slope formula
y-6=6(x-7)
y-6=6x-42
y=6x-42+6
y=6x-36
-(-6x+y=-36)
6x-y=36 to get standard form move the 6x across the = sign and it becomes a negative 6x then multiply the entire equation by -1 and change the signs to make it a positive equation.
