..........
Adam earns $13.45 per hour as a painter for a large company
He normally works a 38 hour week and is paid fortnightly

What will Adam's pay be on the last week before he takes his 4 week annual holiday?
NOTE: This particular pay will be made up of his normal fortnight's wages plus his holiday pay
______________________________________…
so far what I've done
$13.45 x 38 (hours) x 4(weeks) = $2044.4 = pay
17.5% x $2044.4 = 357.77 =holiday loading\pay
total = 2402.17 which is wrong

-
Adam is usually paid for a fortnight's work.
On the last week he would be paid for his work on the last working fortnight plus 4 week annual holiday.

so he would be paid for 1 fortnight + 4 weeks
= 2 weeks + 4 weeks
= 6 weeks

so his pay on the last week before his holiday would be

$13.45 x 38 x 6
= $3066.6 .................[Answer]

-
first line should be multiplied by 2 (weeks) since he is paid fornightly
