Am I imagining things here

(-2)=-2/(3-2x) ypu are right-Nope, youre wrong on both counts. The derivatives you have written there first is correct, the second ones that you think its supposed to be are incorrect.......
1. y=x^2lnx

dy/dx=x(1+2lnx)

What it supposed to be:dy/dx= x(-1+2lnx)

2. y=ln(3-2x)

dy/dx= -2/(3-2x)

What it is supposed to be: dy/dx= 2/(3-2x)

Just checking to see if I am wrong. Thanks.

1) y=x^2Inx dy/dx=x^2.1/x+Inx.2x=x+2xInx=x(1+2Inx) you are right

2) y=In(3-2x) dy/dx= 1/(3-2x).(-2)=-2/(3-2x) ypu are right
