What would happen if light wasn't in waves

We might even understand it.-What would happen if light were not light?Um ... well you wouldnt be able to see anything.......
Try and look at:

- defraction
- interference
- reflection
- refraction
- Young's Double Slit Experiment

-
Defraction, interference, would not occur.

Refraction probably would not occur

Reflection would be unchanged

Young Double Slit would not be famous. No interference pattern

Quantum Mechanics would not be as confusing. We might even understand it.

Actually it is not a simple as saying that light is a wave. Light is something we do not understand, but if you want to make a start, to call it a wave is not a bad place to go. As you say it does all these things, although refraction and reflection are done by particles as well.

As you go on in physics you will come across photons, which are sometimes described as particles of light, but that is too simple also.

It sort of isn't, in a certain sense. (Wave-Particle Duality)

Haha, it blows my mind as well. But I think if it was completely particle, it would just completely bounce off our eyeballs(?), causing us to live in darkness.

If light wasn't in waves then our eyes wouldn't work, cos it would have to be solid or not exist at all. maybe we would be using some kind of echo location instead.
