Steps would be appreciated. Thanks!cant simplify further-Umm, I think u should write your question properly first. For example I do not know what is with the -8y^4 c^3. Are they being multiplied?......
The extra letters and exponents are really messing me up. Does anyone know how to do this question? Steps would be appreciated. Thanks! :)

-8y^4 c^3 +4y^3 c^2 -6y2c

-
assuming expression is

-8y^4c^3 + 4y^3c^2 - 6y^2c

2 (-4y^4c^3 + 2y^3c^2 - 3y^2c)

2 (y^2 (-2y^2c^3 + 2yc^2 - 3c))

2 (y^2 (c (-2y^2 + 2y - 3)))

2y^2c (-2y^2 +2y - 3)

-2y^2c (2y^2 +2y - 3)

can't simplify further

Umm, I think u should write your question properly first. For example I do not know what is with the "-8y^4 c^3". Are they being multiplied? and also please add brackets properly. Also, what do we have to do in this question? Factorise or something, because there is no = sign which does not make it a proper equation.

Assuming the last exp is 6y^2c

-8y^4.c^3 + 4y^3.c^2 - 6y^2.c
or -2y^2.c * (4y^2.c^2 + 2y.c - 3)
or -2y^2.c * ((4y^2.c^2 + 4y.c +1) - (2y.c + 4))
or -2y^2.c * ((2yc+1)^2 - (sqrt(2yc+4))^2)
or -2y^2.c * (2yc + sqrt(2yc+4) +1) * (2yc - sqrt(2yc+4) + !)

-
where it says -6y2c, is it supposed to say -6y^2 c?
