Help me calculate my grade average!

okay so i am taking final exam in history tomorrow.
i want to know what grade i hae to make on the final in order to pass with an A or B average.


Here are percentages:

Class Participation (In-Class Quizzes, Discussion, and Attendance) 25%
Oral Presentation Outline 10%
Oral Presentation 15%
Tests (Midterm and Final) 25%
Writing (Comment Sheets and Essay) 25%

HERE'S WHAT I GOT ON CERTAIN THINGS:

oral presentation: 95%
oral presentation outline: 100%
MIDTERM: 90%
ESSAY: 100%
comment sheets: i did 7 OUT OF 8 (87.5 %)
ATTENDANCE: 14 OUT OF 15 (93 %)



Can someone PLEASE calculate the average i currently have and WHAT i need to make on the infal to maintain an A or B average??

P.S. i did an extra credit project, which adds 10 pts to the final. :)

Tests (Midterm and Final) 25% => Midterm 12.5% and Final 12.5%, same with Writing. I hope I can do that.

f(x)=0.9*12.5+0.95*15+1*10+1*12.5+0.875…
f(x)=11.25+14.25+10+12.5+10.9375+23.25+…
f(x)=82.1875+x*12.5

Right now you have 82.1875% without the final.

Calculating how much you need to get to 85%
f(x)=85 => 82.1875+x*12.5=85
x*12.5=2.8125
x=0.225=22.5%

You need to get more than 22.5% on the final.

P.S. I didn't use the 10 extra pts because I don't know if it is in %, if it is in % you should use this equation instead f(x)=82.1875+(x+0.1)*12.5 f(x)=85 => x=12.5%

Yes, that's correct. You should get 22.5% out of 100% on the final. However I don't know if you need to get 85% average to get an A or B, I only calculatade with that number because "Hi Bye" wrote "dont get lower than 85". (82.1875+x*12.5=85)

you have a 90 something 92,94 and dont get lower than 85.
