zn + S produce ZNS
you have to find which one is limiting
how much ZnS is produced by the given Zn:
6.2g / 65.39 ( 65.39 is the molar mass) = 0.095 mol of Zn = 0.095 mol of ZnS ( it's 1:1 ratio)
how much ZnS is produced by given S
4.5g / 32.07 = 0.140 mol of ZnS
Zn is given limited, since it produce the least amount of ZnS . Therefore only 0.095 mol of ZnS is produced
0.095 mol of ZnS into mass":
0.095 x 97.46 (molar mass) = 9.26g of ZnS
