What will be the best time to view the lunar eclipse this saturday morning in Fresno, California with out a telescope?

It hits totality at 7:32 mountain time. Use a telescope/binoculars to see a better view of it. Also, we are nearing the peak of the Germinid meteor shower, so watch for that as well. That same night, I forgot what time, the International Space Station will be overhead as well. So have fun.

The partial eclipse begins at 4.46 PST. It becomes total just after 6.00. The moon will set while it's moving out of the shadow, so you'll get a pretty good show. If you don't turn the alarm off and go back to sleep, that is.

Use binoculars as well.
