I need review since i missed some lessons because i was terribly sick for a week

1. In the accompanying equilateral triangle ABC, DE=5 and DE ll AB
If AB is 3 times as long as DE, what is perimeter of quadrilateral ABED?

2. Segement AB is the diameter of circle M. The coordinates of A are (-4,3). The coordinates of M are (1,5). What are the coordinates of B?

If AB is 3 times as long as DE, what is perimeter of quadrilateral ABED?
DE = 5, AB = 3DE = 3*5 = 15 = CA = BC from ABC is equilateral triangle.
similarly CD = AB/3 = 15/3 = 5 so AD = AC -- DC = 15 -- 5 = 10 = BE
Perimeter of ABED = AB + BE + ED + DA = 15 + 10 + 5 + 10 = 40 ANSWER

2. Segement AB is the diameter of circle M. The coordinates of A are (-4,3). The coordinates of M are (1,5).
The coordinates of B (h, k) are h = 1 + 1 -- (--4) = 6 and k = 5 + 5 -- 3 = 7
