Thank you-well almost anything with H in front can be classified as an acid. the naming process is simple too. HBr is (hydro)bromic acid HCl is (hydro)chloric acid, so on and so forth. same concept with polyatomic ions w/out hydro. H2SO4 is sulfuric acid.......
Im really confused about the whole concept

If you could help explain it and how all acids have the H inm front equals to its ionic charge, binary acid namings , as well as oxyacid naming

please just summarise/explain in your best words it will help me alot!
Test tmw!
Thank you

well almost anything with H in front can be classified as an acid. the naming process is simple too. HBr is (hydro)bromic acid HCl is (hydro)chloric acid, so on and so forth. same concept with polyatomic ions w/out hydro. H2SO4 is sulfuric acid. HIO3 is iodic acid. H has a primary oxidation state of +1 and in almost all acids you will find the second element/ion has an oxidation state/net charge of -1 so the net charge will be zero. Hope i could help!!
