Thanks in advance! :)-if the center of circle P is:(5, 3.circle P is tangent to the x-axis.........
Circle P just touches (is tangent to) the x-axis. Find the area of circle P to the nearest hundredth. We know that the coordinates of the dot (P) in the middle is (5, 3.07). Thanks in advance! :)

if the center of circle P is: (5, 3.07)

and

circle P is tangent to the x-axis...

then, the radius of circle P is: 3.07

Make a diagram !

Area = π r^2

get out your calculator...make a contribution.

[Area ≈ 29.61 units^2]
