I am really stuck on the third part of this question could anyone help?
the gradient of the line L is sqrt 3 as i have worked out.
the equation of L is y = sqrt 3 x + 2 sqrt 3
Could anyone help me with this :
c) show that L meets the x axis at the point C (-2,0)
thanks if anyone answers.

0 = sqrt(3)x + 2sqrt(3)
0 = sqrt(3)(x + 2)
0 = x + 2
x = - 2
0 = sqrt(3)(x + 2)
0 = x + 2
x = - 2
