I got this problem that I can't get :( Can't anybody help me out here?
A company makes 2 types of motor bikes. The profit on a regular bike is $200 and the profit on a deluxe bike is $275 the company must manufacture at least 50 regular bikes and at least 70 deluxe bikes. also, to maintain standards the total number of bikes manufactured must not exceed 150 per week.
(a) What is the function to be maximized?
(b) How many bikes of each type should be manfactured per week to obtain maximum profit?
(c) What is the mezimum profit per week?

a) Since deluxe bikes give more profit , they have to produce more to get more profit.
b) regular bikes = 50 ( minimum) deluxe bikes = 100 ( maximum 150 - 50)
c) 50 X 200 = 10,000
100 X 275 = 27,500
ANSWER = 37500

1 & 2.keep the amnt of regulr bikes produced to 50(cuz it the minimum) per week. thus deluxe bike produced will be 100.
3. 50*200 + 70*275 = $29250.
