you dont have to have remainders.Decimals can probably boost your ratings with your teacher (especially when they are accurate).......
for my math class, i have to do something like this : 7 • x/4 = 8......What is X? can you you guys show me how find the answer and remainder?

multiply the 7 and x/4 to get 7x/4. Then multiply by 4 to get 7x on the left and 32 on the right. divide by 7 to get a decimal of about 4.57. The truth is, you don't have to have remainders. Decimals can probably boost your ratings with your teacher (especially when they are accurate).

x = 32/7 = 4 4/7
