answer -5/6 ,(5x-4) + (2x-3)=0...answer x=1-you typed the first equation wrong, but i understand for the most part.......
Please help because when I solved this I completely got it wrong.

(25-3) (35+1)=7....answer -5/6 ,2

(5x-4) + (2x-3)=0...answer x=1

you typed the first equation wrong, but i understand for the most part.

1) (2x-3)(3x+1)=7
foil left side and get:
6x^2 + 2x - 9x - 3 = 7
subtract 7 from both sides:
6x^2 + 2x - 9x - 10
factor it and get:
(x-2)(6x+5) = 0
therefore, the x's are 2 and -5/6

2) (5x-4) + (2x-3) = 0
just take the numbers out of the parenthesis:
5x - 4 + 2x - 3 = 0
isolate the x onto one side:
-7 = -7x
therefore, x = 1
