HELP! PLEASE MATH! ALGEBRA!

Can someone find x for these problems:
2x - 7 = -2x + 1
and
-2x - 5 = -4x + 2

If you would also mind, please tell me the trick in finding out what they are! PLEASE, I HAVE OTHER WORK TO DO AND IT"S DUE TOMORROW! AHH!

there's no "trick".
2x - 7 = -2x + 1
add 2x to both sides
2x + 2x -7 = -2x + 2x + 1
add 7 to both sides
2x + 2x -7 +7 = -2x + 2x + 1 + 7
combine
4x = 8
divide by 4
x = 2

now you try one

move all the numbers to one side the variables to the other.
