I have the problem -2x^2-7x-4>0.
I know the answer is -2.8 Why wouldn't it be x<-2.8 OR x>-.72.
I thought all quadratic inequalities that ended in >0 were Or problems, not and.

That quadratic inequality ends in < 0. Note the sign of the quadratic term. Multiply by -1 to make the quadratic term positive, and the > 0 reverses to be < 0.
