2 is also 6/3. 6/3 minus 1/3 is 5/3. 5 squared is 25, 3 squared is 9.......
(0-1/3)^2=1/9
(1-1/3)^2=4/9
(2-1/3)^2=25/9

Can you please explain?

-
(0-1/3)^2=1/9
(-1/3)^2 = (1/3)^2 = 1/9

(1-1/3)^2=4/9
(2/3)^2 = 4/9

(2-1/3)^2=25/9
(5/3)^2 = 25/9

-
(0-1/3)^2=1/9
After simplifying what's in the parenthesis (which would just be -1/3) you square the top and you square the bottom. 1 squared is 1, 3 squared is 9.

(1-1/3)^2=4/9
What's left in the parenthesis is 2/3. 2 squared is 4, 3 squared is 9.

(2-1/3)^2=25/9
2 is also 6/3. 6/3 minus 1/3 is 5/3. 5 squared is 25, 3 squared is 9.
