Could anyone explain mental math to me plz, im not lookin for answers but here is one of my problems

5X2 is 10, and to multiply by 10 means to add a 0 at the end. So 72 times 10 times 10 means you add two zeros at the end of 72.

i read a good book by an Australian called speed mathematics it's really good n u can download a pdf online for free. Google it n u will find it!
