17 - 6a - 22 - 4a =

A. -10a - 5
B. 2a - 5
C. -10a - 39
D. 2a - 39

-
17 - 6a - 22 - 4a

Combine like terms.
You have a -6a and subtracting 4a from that is -10a

You have a +17 and subtracting 22 from that is -5

so you answer is -10a - 5 which is A

-
C

-
17 - 22 = -5

-6A -4A = -10A

ANSWER IS A
