Because we have two values for |x+2|,* first answer: |x+2|=x+2,** for |x+2|= -x-2,in this case,Hope this explains it enough for you,answer is 8.......
Let g(x)= -x^2+3x-2 and h(x)= |x+2|. Find g(-2)/h(-5)

Let's start with h(x)=|x+2|, |x+2|=x+2 or -(x+2)=-x-2
Because we have two values for |x+2|, we'll two different answers for g(-2)/h(-5)
* first answer: |x+2|=x+2, by replacing x with (-2) in g(x) and x with (-5) in h(x) we get:
g(-2) = -(-2)^2 + 3(-2) -2 = -(4)+(-6)-2 = -4-6-2 = -12
h(-5) = -5+2 = -3
g(-2)/h(-5)= -12/-3= 4
** for |x+2|= -x-2, we get:
g(-2)= -12
h(-5)= -(-5)-2= 5-2= 3
in this case, g(-2)/h(-5)= -12/3= -4
Hope this explains it enough for you, good luck and don't forget my 10 points lol

g(-2) = -(-2)^5 + 3(-2) - 2 = -(-32) - 6 - 2 = 32 - 6 - 2 = 24

h(-5) = |-5+2| = |-3| = 3

g(-2)/h(-5) = 24/3 = 8

answer is 8.
